OK so you've watched Tiger King on Netflix for the fourth time and you've seen The Witcher and Locke and Key twice now and you're looking for more content to stream, but you don't want to break the already strained bank to do so. Don't worry we've got the perfect list for you! 👍



While some streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, or Amazon Prime Video charge a monthly subscription fee, there are several companies out there that offer free or "free with ads" movies & shows. I would like to think that it goes without saying, but I do have to include this just in case. There is NO piracy here; All these options listed are 100% legal. So without any further delays lets get into the list shall we?





TUBI TV

Watch popular movies and TV series 100% free online via a browser, on their app and on a wide variety of devices, including Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation, Roku, and most smart TVs. It offers tens of thousands of TV shows and films, all completely free to watch; You don’t even need to create an account. This service has been around since 2014 and millions of people have downloaded the app. Note: Tubi TV is ad-supported so you will see video ads while watching.



SONY CRACKLE

Sony Crackle is a free movie and TV streaming service offered by Sony that lets viewers watch uncut content. It is ad-supported so you will see some ads while watching the movies. Crackle is available on every major mobile device, web browsers, game consoles and on Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, select smart TVs. .


VUDU

Vudu is a digital video service that allows you to store your personal Digital Video Library acquired through UV codes and Digital redeem codes. You will need to create a free account to access the free movies. The free movies are ad-supported so you will have to deal with a few video ads while watching. Plex

Plex just recently announced free ad-supported movies and shows that will be delivered free of charge.


IMDB

You can watch full-length movies, tv shows, and more for free. Just create an account for free. IMDb TV is owned by Amazon. It has free, ad-supported TV shows and movies. You can watch IMDb TV on the web and on Amazon Fire.




HOOPLA

Hoopla is a free digital media service offered in partnership with local public libraries. You can borrow movies,music, audiobooks, ebooks, and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, phone or TV. Movies can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. They have hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from, with more added daily. Titles are automatically returned and removed from your device at the end of the lending period. Think of it like checking out and returning a book from the library like when you were a kid.




KANOPY

Kanopy is similar to Hoopla. It offers access to thousands of films for free in partnership with your public library/ university. You can watch ad-free films and series on your TV, mobile phone, tablet or online. The drawback on this one is you have to have a library card to sign up and it is not available at all libraries just yet unfortunately.


PLUTO

Pluto TV hosts free films on-demand, but it’s also a free live-TV streaming service, hosting content from across the web. Pluto TV features multiple live movie channels. . It’s available on web browsers, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku devices, and more.

ROKU

Roku offers a free ad-supported channel. It is available to anyone, via the web, as well as through the company’s free apps for iOS and Android. You can also order a streaming stick to turn any TV with an hdmi port into a smart tv if you're not already using a Roku enabled TV. The service offers more than 10,000 titles to choose from. Just create a free Roku account before you can watch.





YOUTUBE

You already know Youtube is the site for all things video, but were you aware of the free movie section? Heck yeah! They have a sizable collection of feature-length movies. Of course you can expect ads with it being YouTube and you can expect that the free stuff won't be new releases, but there's still some good content worth watching.
